Straight Edge photo for the feature competition, Fall 2006, J.A.C.C.

Where it says "Til Death Do Us Part" and there is a razor blade that is not a tattoo but it supposed to look like one. The razor blade on the wrist signifies that a lot of sXe people would rather slit their wrists than break edge [do drugs, drink, have sex outside of commitment]. the "Til Death Do Us Part" means that when you become edge its like you're taking a marriage vow, you have to be serious about it and its not something to enter into lightly, its supposed to be lifelong, like getting married.

apparently your a CM Punk fan? thats awesome. im thinkin of gettin a razor blade tattoo, but for different reason. i wanna get mine to signify that i never cut or hurt myself. ive gotten close, but by God's grace i didnt. i tottally commend the straight edge lifestyle, although im not one, i basicly am. the only things ive done that straight edgers dont is ive drank some alcohol, but i have no intention of ever getting drunk. lol, ive shared too much, anyway, have a awesome day! :P

I am not a CM Punk fan, I actually don't know what it is. I did this as a photojournalism assignment for the newspaper I used to work for. The model isn't SXE either. I used to be SXE but I just don't see the point in that lifestyle or culture anymore because of the violent actions of many of the self-proclaimed members.

lol cm punk is a professional wrestling superstar. he wears armbands just like that. so i just assumed. yeah straightedge people usually tend to have the "im better than you" attitude towards people who arrent straight edge. i tottally dont blame you.
